What Is It?

Invisalignâ„¢ treatment uses a series of virtually invisible, removable, and comfortable aligners that allow you to smile more during treatment as well as after. The Invisalign Systemâ„¢ combines advanced 3-D computer graphics technology with 100-year-old science of orthodontics. Invisalign aligners are designed to move your teeth in small steps to the desired final position prescribed by your orthodontist. More than 70% of orthodontists in the US and Canada are certified to administer Invisalign treatment.

We Are A Certified Invisalign Provider

To ensure the best possible results, only an orthodontist who has been trained and certified by Align Technology can diagnose and treat using Invisalign. Invisalign™ can be used to treat both children and adults. Only an orthodontist can determine if this treatment is an effective option for you. To see if Invisalign can help you achieve the smile you’ve always wanted, contact Dr. Reed Mockaitis to schedule your complimentary appointment.

Why Would I Want It?

Invisalign™ offers many incredible benefits when it comes to your orthodontic experience. There’s more than just being virtually invisible. Some other benefits of Invisalign™ are that they’re comfortable, removable, easy to clean, you can eat what you want and you can view your own virtual treatment plan when you start so you can see how your straight teeth will look when your treatment is complete.

Virtually Invisible Treatment

Invisalignâ„¢ clear aligners are designed to fit snugly on your teeth while gently correcting any issues. This custom fit combined with a transparent, medical-grade plastic construction makes them undetectable to outside observers. If cleaned properly after each meal, they are also resistant to stain and discoloration.

No Food Restrictions

There are some foods that can damage traditional braces, or your teeth while you are wearing them. With Invisalignâ„¢ clear aligners, you can remove your plastic trays before eating or brushing your teeth. This will prevent discoloration of teeth or hard to reach plaque buildup, as well as allowing you to clean your clear aligners more thoroughly.

Easy To Clean

The only maintenance that your Invisalignâ„¢ clear retainers will require is regular brushing with toothpaste and warm water. Every morning and evening, as well as after each meal remove your clear retainers and brush them with warm water and toothpaste, or a similar cleaning solution recommended by your orthodontist.

How Does It Work?

Invisalign aligners are designed to move your teeth in small steps to the desired final position prescribed by your orthodontist. Each aligner is precisely calibrated and manufactured to fit your mouth at each stage of the treatment plan. After sending precise treatment instructions, Invisalign uses advanced computer technology to translate these instructions in a sequence of finely calibrated aligners — as few as 10 or as many as 48. Each aligner is worn for about two weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next, your teeth will begin to move gradually — week-by-week until the final alignment prescribed is attained. You’ll visit us about once every six to eight weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned. Total treatment time averages 6 to 15 months. Then you’ll be smiling like you never have before!
